Discipline: The Key to Success

Perhaps the greatest thing about being a day trader is the freedom that the career provides. Freedom to come and go from the office, dress however you choose and you don't have to answer to anyone except the markets.

But this freedom can come with a price and that is lack of discipline. I don't care how you choose to dress or what time you are in the office, but you should show an amazing amount of discipline in your trading, journaling and following your rules to a "T".

Whether you work at a small prop firm, have a retail account at E-trade or work for a powerhouse trading firm you are a professional trader, so act that way.
